The past twenty years have witnessed a transformative shift in the media landscape, primarily driven by technological advancements. This evolution has fundamentally altered the daily practices of journalists, particularly evident in the last decade with the emergence of novel tools and methodologies. The traditional monopoly of journalists over news dissemination is eroding, challenged by the rise of diverse narrative perspectives and the ubiquitous influence of social media as a significant news source. Concurrently, there has been a notable increase in public figures who engage directly with audiences, further democratizing information dissemination. This global engagement is characterized by a plethora of information types, accessible through various digital platforms, including internet news pages and television. These developments necessitate the creation of innovative information production methodologies, compelling a reevaluation of professional journalism's role within this evolving information ecosystem. The proliferation of digital platforms and social networks, coupled with public participation in news creation, has fragmented audiences and introduced a sense of urgency in journalistic practice, threatening the traditional information monopoly held by journalists. Despite fears that technological advancements may compromise journalistic integrity, these changes potentially enhance the media landscape, promoting more independent journalism without sacrificing quality or mission. Core journalistic values—objectivity, neutrality, impartiality, fairness, and autonomy—remain unaltered, underpinning the journalist’s responsibility to serve the public interest through ethical news collection, presentation, and distribution. In this digital era, what has fundamentally shifted is the praxis of journalism. This pertains to the daily routines, methods, and techniques employed by journalists to achieve their objectives and fulfill their societal responsibilities. These practices, rooted in a commitment to providing accurate and consistent information, uphold the journalist's role as both a purveyor of information and a guardian of democratic standards. Keywords:
