Justifikimi i intervenimit të NATO-s në Kosovë në aspektin e marrëdhënieve ndërkombëtare

Abstract

Artikulli merret me politikën e SHBA-së ndaj Kosovës në vitet 1998-1999, periudhë e shkurtër por me rëndësi shumë të madhe për fatin e shqiptarëve të Kosovës. Kjo çështje trajtohet në tri pjesë: përmes një hyrjeje apo begraundi historik që fokusohet në politikën amerikane ndaj Kosovës në vitet 1990- 1998; tek bisedimet për planin e paqes në Konferencën e Rambujesë, të pranuar nga delegacioni i Kosovës e të refuzuar nga delegacioni serb, tek fushata ajrore e NATO-s kundër Jugosllavisë dhe miratimin e rezolutës 1244 nga Këshilli i Sigurimit, me të cilën u detyrua të pajtohej edhe Jugosllavia dhe ngjarjet që e pasuan atë. Në pjesën e fundit me karakter teorik, autori përpiqet t’i japë përgjigje pyetjes, se: “A ishte i legjitimuar sulmi i NATO-s mbi Jugosllavinë e mbetur?”, duke sjellë aq sa lejon kufiri i një artikulli prova pro dhe kundër tij. Për shkrimin e këtij artikulli janë shfrytëzuar burime të ndryshme, të vjetra e të reja, të autorëve të huaj e shqiptarë, por studimet apo raportet që i janë paraqitur Kongresit Amerikan për këtë çështje nga viti 1999 e deri në vitin 2018, për shkak të vlerave të veçanta që bartin janë përdorur gjerësisht.
