“Nga gurra e traditës te gurra e kritikës”: aspekte të mendimit etnologjik të Mark Krasniqit

Abstract

This essay will examine the ethnological thought of Mark Krasniqi, interpreting some of the main aspects of his work written during the Yugoslav period (1945-1990), and highliting arguments, theoretical approaches and methodology. After providing a general context of Yugoslav ethnology, the essay seeks to emphasize that Krasniqi's thought is distinguished by these three aspects: the interpretation of Albanian culture in the context of the Albanian national cultural area, the critique of the 6 Arsim CANOLLI Serbian ethnological heritage of the Cvijic school and theMarxist critiqueas the dominant theoretical position in the context of the Yugoslav political system. Moreover,the essay aims to highlight the fact that Kosova ethnology has developed a specific albanological standpoint in Yugoslavia, one one hand affirming the Albanian identity of Kosovo in the context of the Albanian cultural mosaic and on the other hadn, producing a counter narrative to Cvijiqian school of thought.
