About the Journal
Gjurmime Albanologjike (translated as Albanological Investigations or Reconnaissance) is a venerable annual scholarly journal published by the Instituti Albanologjik i Prishtinës (Albanological Institute of Prishtina). Its inaugural issue appeared in 1968, evolving from earlier intermittent compilations into a respected publication with three distinct series launched in 1971: Historical Sciences, Philological Sciences, and Folklore & Ethnology . Each series is guided by its own editorial board, composed of both local and international scholars, fostering a blend of tradition and fresh perspectives .
