Sëmundja e parkinsonit a ekzistojnë strategji të reja terapeutike?

Prezantimi klinik i sëmundjes së Parkinsonit përfaqëson një kryqëzim të katër fushave kryesore: simptomat motorike, ndryshimet njohëse, ndryshimet neuropsikiatrike/të sjelljes dhe simptomat e lidhura me dëmtimet e sistemit nervor autonom. Faktorët e mjedisit mund të rritin ose të zvogëlojnë probabilitetin e zhvillimit të PD dhe punimet e kohëve të fundit theksojnë kontributin e faktorëve gjenetike mbi këtë sëmundje [2]. Menaxhimi bashkëkohor mjekësor është shumë i varur nga ndërhyrjet farmakologjike, megjithëse trajtimet kirurgjikale (p.sh., stimulimi i thellë i trurit) gjithashtu luajnë një rol. Zhvillimi i industrisë farmaceutike për barnat terapeutikë në trajtimin e sëmundjes së Parkinsonit vazhdon, si rezultat i nevojës së vazhdueshme për agjentët më të mirë dhe rritjes së kërkesës klinike për shkak të plakjes së popullsisë.Keywords:
