Rezorbimi i rrënjëve është një situatë në të cilën mund të gjenden shpesh ortodontët gjatë rutinës së tyre të përditshme. Faktorët e rezorbimit klasifi kohen në mekanikë dhe biologjikë. Pasoja të trajtimit ortodontik mund të jenë njollat e bardha të dekalcifi kimit, recesionet gingivale dhe problemet e tjera periodontale, po komplikacioni më i shpeshtë është rezorbimi i rrënjëve. Rezorbimi i rrënjës në rastet e trajtimit ortodontik është patologjik, dhe çon në humbje të cementit apo të dentinës nga rrënja e dhëmbit.Keywords:
