Rirrezatimi i pacientëve me kancer rektal rekurent në konkomitancë me kimioterapinë jo më tabu

Vitet e fundit, përmirësimi i trajtimit të pacientëve me kancer rektal ka rritur mbijetesën. Megjithatë, disa pacientë shfaqin recidivë lokale. Kirurgjia është opsioni më i mirë i trajtimit por jo gjithmonë i mundshëm. Një numër i konsiderueshëm i kësaj kategorie pacientësh janë trajtuar me radiokimioterapi konkomitante. Rirrezatimi është një opsion trajtimi, veçanërisht për pacientët që nuk mund t’i nënshtrohen kirurgjisë. Qëllimi i këtij studimi është të tregojë që përdorimi i rirrezatimit në konkomitancë me kimioterapinë nuk është më një tabu.Keywords:
