The integration of simulation in nursing education
Abstract
Contemporary nursing education requires the adoption of innovative and effective teaching methods that support the development of clinical skills, critical thinking, and patient safety. Simulation is a widely used educational approach in nursing that enhances and complements traditional teaching methods. The aim of this article is to examine the integration of simulation into nursing education, its impact on students’ professional preparation, and to provide practical recommendations for initiating and incorporating sim- ulation into the nursing curriculum. The methodology is based on a review of current scientific litera - ture. The findings indicate that simulation improves clinical skills, enhances self-confidence, strengthens communication abilities, and reduces errors in clinical practice. In conclusion, simulation represents an essential component of modern nursing education. Keywords:
