Dyslexia - learning difficulties

Abstract

This topic incorporates a theoretical-practical perspective on reading ability and dyslexia. The research methods used in this paper include interpretive, analytical and comparative study, as well as the widely used argumentative method, selected as a suitable method for this paper. A special aspect is the treatment of a very important issue, but not widely addressed in Albanian literature, the issue of dyslexia. According to the typology, dyslexia is the difficulty in learning, or more precisely, it enters the group of learning difficulties and is related to the difficulty that the individual has to read, or to perceive the letters. This problem is very common, that’s why parents and teachers need theoretical and practical knowledge to help dyslexic students. Through this paper, it is intended to provide some concrete strategies and guidelines to improve and promote reading in dyslexic children. The paper also concludes that teachers should be continuously trained to recognize and recall strategies and activities that improve students' reading ability, but also to further develop the scientific pedagogical formation.
