Abstract

From 2012-2015 are retreated twenty head and neck cancer patients with unresectable recurrences after a fi rst treatment with surgery and/or radiochemotherapy. There were 16 men and 4 women with a median age of 58 years (47-75years). Patients had a Karnofsky Performance State of 60-80%. All patients were treated with 3Dimensionalhyperfractionated radiotherapy concurrent with weekly Cisplatin 40mg/m².Median interval between the fi rst and second radiotherapy treatment was 25 months (12-59months). Radiotherapy dose of the fi rst treatment ranged between 50-66Gy,and of reirradiation between 30-40 Gy. During retreatment and follow up all side eff ects were evaluated.
