Abstract

According to International Pharmaceutical Federation “The Pharmacy Practice Mission is to provide drugs and other healthcare products and services and help people and society use them the best.” Pharmaceutical care is a common practice philosophy that should be sought out by all pharmacists. Given the particular phases of development of healthcare provision and pharmaceutical services in particular countries, pharmacists should use their professional care in setting priorities for achieving these objectives. The purpose of this study is to document the level of involvement of pharmacists in the provision of patient education and counselling and obstacles to such involvement.
