Abstract

Robots are evolving and improving at a rapid pace to make our lives simpler. Every mobile robot that “floats” in the environment must always be aware of its position and orientation in relation to the real world. There are many ways to achieve this using various technologies such as GPS, RF Triangulation, acceleration gyros, etc. Each technique has its own advantage and is unique in itself. Today we can find a variety of robots. They are widely used in medicine, technology, the military and also in households, to facilitate human labour. In this project we will use the simple and readily available LM393 speed sensor to measure several vital parameters such as speed, distance, and robot angle using the Arduino Nano microcontroller
