Reading Process and its Benefits
Abstract
This paper work highlights the importance of knowledge of reading typology, regarding it as one of establishing skills that a pupil must possess during the school years. It is important to take into a consideration and implement case after case the right teaching methods about reading adapting to pupil’s ability.
Reading should never be confused with going through a text fluently. Active reading and meaningful readings are very important concepts and it has strategies which should be implemented. An intelligent pupil after all is the one who is capable of reproducing their meaning of the text after reading it.
Another recommendation deals with the periodic training of teachers in order to be familiar with successful new strategies that improve reading abilities. By doing so they will continually have that professional shape which is crucial for teachers.
