The literature of the Islam Realm
Abstract
The codification of this literature starts with the first notes written by Companions of Prophet Muhammad on the Koran's verses descended during the Divine Revelation. In the Albanian territories and in other countries, such as: Spain, Portugal, Bosnia and Herzegovina etc, the development of the literature, by the employment of the Arab alphabet with some additional signs, brought about a new kind of literature, the so-called "Literature of Al-Amiada". Also, the Ottoman Turkish was written in Arab alphabet and was broadly influenced by the Arab vocabulary. The literature of Arab-speaking people is also one of the most powerful driving forces of the Islamic Civilization. It has its origin from the Arabs of Arabia, but, nevertheless, it was produced and appreciated from Spain to China. Although, the classic Arab literature was prevailed by the religious and scholar thought, its intrinsic values are great. Poems are powerful, dynamic, realistic and vivid.
Persian Literature - So it is called the literature in the modern Persian language with Arab alphabet in the post-Islamic era. This broad literature, marked by the prevalence of poetry, is not limited by the geographical boundaries of Iran, but also, it has been cultivated in Turkey and north of India. The literature in the Ottoman Turkey developed more or less in the same time with the Persian and Indian ones. From the literature of versifiers, it is inherited a very small part, because the major part of it has been circulated and transmitted orally. The part that has survived from what was left in written form appertains to Muslim population, which wrote it in Albanian but with Arab alphabet and its subjects are influenced by the social and religious themes. Also, the languages of these literatures were broadly influenced by the Arabian and the genres that were employed in the art of poetical skills were inherited in the majority of them by the post-Islamic literature.
