“Një valle e lashtë që vazhdon të kërcehet”

Abstract

Ky artikull shqyrton debatet artistike mbi kulturën popullore dhe realizmin socialist, që u zhvilluan në Shqipërinë e socializmit shtetëror të viteve 1970. Artikulli fillon me fjalimin famëkeq të diktatorit Enver Hoxha në Plenumin e Katërt dhe eksploron ndikimin e tij mbi artet pamore dhe kulturën më gjerësisht. Më tej, artikulli heton forcimin e theksit mbi identitetin kombëtar dhe popullor që karakterizoi ligjërimin kritik mbi artin në Shqipërinë e pas vitit 1973. Artikulli synon të kapërcejë interpretimet e thjeshtuara të këtij fenomeni, që e shikojnë përkushtimin gjithnjë e më të madh ndaj temave kombëtare në artet pamore si pjesë e degradimit të shkaktuar nga politikat izoluese që sa vinte dhe shtoheshin në Shqipërinë e viteve ’70. Përkundrazi, artikulli nxjerr në pah faktin se kthesa drejt tematikave dhe praktikave folklorike përbënte një zgjatim të logjikave (të caktuara) të ligjërimit soc-realist shqiptar dhe heq paralele mes zhvillimeve që po ndodhnin në Shqipëri me ato në vende të tjera të botës në përfundim të Luftës së Ftohtë, ku kombet që po e shpërbënin rendin kolonial, ashtu si edhe kombet socialiste të krijuara prej kohësh, po fokusoheshin gjithnjë e më shumë në zejet, në artet e aplikuara dhe në format që prodhonte dhe zhvillonte krijimtaria popullore. Kësisoj, artikulli ngre pyetjen: A mund të kuptohet mbizotërimi i narrativave kombëtare dhe folklorike pas mesit të viteve ’70 si pjesë e një procesi më kompleks, që synonte pozicionimin e Shqipërisë karshi botës që po dilte nga sundimi kolonial, si dhe ndaj fuqive të mëdha të Luftës së Ftohtë? A mund të lexohet kthesa e fortë drejt kulturës popullore, si një përpjekje për të arritur një lloj pasqyrimi estetik gjithëpërfshirës të shoqërisë socialiste, duke përfituar nga premtimi i Revolucionit Ideologjik dhe Kulturor të Shqipërisë (filluar në fund të viteve ’60) për të zhvendosur pikat e referimit kulturor sa më larg artit sovjetik?
