Ekspozita e Arkivit të Emigracionit Shqiptar në Greqi: projekt sfidues për një histori të lënë në heshtje

Abstract

Artikulli trajton ekspozitën A Bag Full of Telephone Cards: Making the Archive of Albanian Migration (Një borsë plot me telekarta: Krijimi i Arkivit të Emigracionit Shqiptar), të organizuar në galerinë “TAVROS” në Athinë (Greqi) midis 18-28 shtator 2024, si një projekt politik dhe kuratorial që ndërthur kujtesën kolektive me aktivizmin shoqëror. Përmes një qasjeje dekoloniale dhe pjesëmarrëse, ekspozita vë në dukje përvojat e emigrantëve shqiptarë si një “kundër-arkiv” që sfidon narrativat dominuese mbi emigracionin, duke i dhënë përparësi proceseve të formimit të identitetit individual e kolektiv, të ndërtuar në kushtet e lëvizjes, kujtesës dhe ndërveprimit me shoqërinë “vendëse”. Duke përdorur objekte personale, materiale pamore dhe dëshmi orale, ekspozita shndërrohet në një hapësirë heterotopike ku e kaluara, e tashmja dhe e ardhmja ndërthuren në mënyrë refleksive. Artikulli argumenton se, përmes konceptimit të kujtesës si proces dinamik, ekspozita u jep zë subjekteve të skajuara dhe i rikthen emigrantit rolin e dëshmitarit aktiv, duke e pozicionuar arkivimin si akt politik dhe emancipues. Në këtë mënyrë, ndërveprimi me publikun krijon hapësirë për dialog, ndjeshmëri dhe reflektim mbi proceset e emigracionit, duke pohuar rolin e kujtesës si instrument kritik e transformues në rishikimin e marrëdhënieve ndërmjet historisë dhe identitetit në hapësirat e artit bashkëkohor.
